Polyvinylidene fluoride(PVDF) is a highly non-reactive thermoplastic fluoropolymer. It can be synthesized by polymerization of 1, 1-difluoroethylene and dissolved in strong polar solvents such as dimethylacetamide. It has excellent properties such as anti-aging, chemical resistance, weather resistance, ultraviolet radiation resistance, etc. It can be used as engineering plastics, for making sealing ring corrosion resistant equipment, capacitors, and also used as coatings, insulation materials and ion exchange membrane materials.

Application field

1. Coating field: PVDF coating uses PVDF fluorine resin and special pigments with excellent weather resistance as the main components, outdoor use for more than 20 years, office buildings, commercial buildings, airports and other buildings mainly use PVDF coating.

2. Injection molding field: PVDF has excellent processing performance, and can be processed into films, sheets, pipes, rods, etc., by extrusion molding and other methods. It has good chemical resistance, processability, fatigue resistance and creep resistance, and is often used in reaction tanks.

3. Photovoltaic field: PVDF is an excellent photovoltaic backplane fluorine film material, flame retardant is better than traditional PVF material, excellent weather resistance makes PVDF can be exposed to sunlight for a long time, without aging in the air, and the service life can reach 50 years.

4. Filter membrane field: PVDF is not easy to adsorb organic matter, has good pollution resistance, relative to PES/PS/PVC film and other materials with oxidation resistance, resistance to frequent chemical cleaning, high mechanical strength.

5. Lithium binder: PVDF has a market penetration rate of up to 90% in all positive binders. PVDF can bond the active substance, conductive agent and fluid collector on the positive electrode, maintain the uniformity and stability of the active substance during pulping, provide the required electron conduction in the electrode, and play a crucial role in the capacity maintenance, service life and stability of the battery.

Application:

It is used to press chemical machinery parts, sealing materials, electrical insulation and anti-corrosion coating, and prepare ion exchange film, capacitor film and other materials.
