Potassium carbonate
Introduction：Potassium carbonate, also known as potash, is a colorless crystal or white particle, which can be obtained by reacting potassium hydroxide with carbon dioxide. It can also be obtained by co heating potassium chloride with magnesium carbonate, water and carbon dioxide under pressure, or by soaking tung seed ash and plant ash. It is mainly used as raw materials for syngas decarburization, electronic tubes, glass, enamel, printing and dyeing, welding electrodes, film development, inorganic salts and glass shells of display tubes. The impure potassium carbonate is commonly known as oxaline, tung alkali or pearl ash. It is one of the early varieties of potassium fertilizer.
