Ritlecitinib is a once-daily oral specific JAK3/TEC inhibitor that is highly selective against tyrosine kinase members expressed in the TEC kinase family and Janus kinase 3 (JAK3), blocking signaling molecules and immune cell activity that cause alopecia areata. Thus inhibiting the immune system to kill hair follicle cells to achieve the purpose of alopecia areata.
