Sodium dichloroacetate inhibited PDHK, which led to a decrease in lactic acid in the tumor microenvironment. Sodium dichloroacetate increases the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and promotes apoptosis of cancer cells, and also acts as an NKCC inhibitor.
