Thiourea is an organic sulfur-containing compound with molecular formula CH4N2S, CAS Number: 62-56-6, UN3077, white and shiny crystals, bitter taste, density 1.4g/cm, melting point 176~178℃, decomposes when heated. It is soluble in water, soluble in ethanol when heated, and very slightly soluble in ether. It is used as a raw material for manufacturing drugs, dyes, resins, compression molding powders, etc. It is also used as a vulcanization accelerator for rubber, a flotation agent for metal minerals, etc. The thiourea solution is produced by the reaction of high-purity hydrogen sulfide gas produced by our company with calcium cyanamide. After filtration, cooling crystallization, centrifugation, drying, automatic packaging and other processes, high-quality thiourea with a purity of more than 99.0% is produced.
