Has the following purposes:

1. n-octyltriethoxysilane can be used as a building waterproofing agent and protective agent, forming a hydrophobic layer on the surface of the substrate, effectively preventing water seepage, sun exposure, acid and alkali erosion, and extending the service life of buildings.

2. n-octyltriethoxysilane can be used as an inorganic filler surface treatment agent to improve the dispersion and compatibility of fillers in plastics, rubber, and resins.

3. n-octyltriethoxysilane is used as a dispersant for pigments, resulting in better dispersibility of the treated pigments.
