The triphenylethylene antiestrogens, which include idoxifene, toremifene, chlorotrianisene, raloxifene and tamoxifen, act at the level of the estrogen receptor, triggering inhibition or stimulation of estrogen-dependent gene transcription and cellular physiology. |
