Desoxyrhaponticin is a stilbene glycoside from the Tibetan nutritional food Rheum tanguticum Maxim. Desoxyrhaponticin is a Fatty acid synthase (FASN) inhibitor, and has apoptotic effect on human cancer cells ^[1] .
