CGRP (Rat) product with the disulfide Bonds: Cys2-Cys7 and available as a 0.1 mg vial. CGRP is the calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP), a neuropeptide that plays an important role in the regulation of vascular tone and blood flow, as well as pain perception, inflammation, and neurogenic inflammation. It is a potent vasodilator and has been implicated in a wide range of physiological and pathophysiological processes.
This product has the potential for use in the study of the physiological and pathological roles of CGRP and to investigate the effects of CGRP on blood vessels, neurons, and other tissues. It has also been used to develop models of migraine headaches and other conditions associated with CGRP dysfunction.
