以25%-50%比例分散在油中，氫化鈉制成品是一個(gè)氫化鈉在礦物油中的50~80的微晶分散體。典型粒度范圍為5-50微米。在800°C熔化同時(shí)分解，不溶于液氨、苯、二硫化碳、四氯化碳、熔融的氫和其它有機(jī)溶劑；在室溫下的干燥空氣或氧氣中穩(wěn)定，在潮濕空氣中極易水解；遇水劇烈反應(yīng)。
