胰島素樣生長(zhǎng)因子-1（IGF-1）是一種分子量為7.6kD的激素，其分子結(jié)構(gòu)與胰島素類似。IGF-1的主要作用機(jī)理是通過(guò)與其特異性受體（IGF1R）結(jié)合來(lái)誘導(dǎo)細(xì)胞內(nèi)的信號(hào)傳導(dǎo)。IGF-1是AKT信號(hào)通路的最有效的激活因子之一，激活A(yù)KT信號(hào)通路后，刺激細(xì)胞生長(zhǎng)及增殖，并抑制細(xì)胞凋亡。IGF-1 LR3在完整的IGF-1分子的N端添加了13個(gè)氨基酸形成83個(gè)氨基酸的長(zhǎng)鏈IGF-1，并將IGF-1分子的第3個(gè)氨基酸谷氨酸（E）用精氨酸（R）取代，所以稱為R3。IGF-1 LR3與未作修飾的IGF-1相比，具有更高的穩(wěn)定性和生物活性。
