This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.

The protein has a calculated MW of 110.8 kDa. The protein migrates as 125-145 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

背景（Background）

KLB（Klotho Beta）是一種蛋白質(zhì)編碼基因。其相關(guān)途徑包括RET信號(hào)傳導(dǎo)和HIV生命周期。與該基因相關(guān)的GO注釋包括水解酶活性、水解O-糖基化合物和成纖維細(xì)胞生長(zhǎng)因子結(jié)合。KL是該基因的一個(gè)重要同源物。Klothoβ是多種代謝過(guò)程的調(diào)節(jié)因子，但其在癌癥中的作用尚不清楚。我們發(fā)現(xiàn)，與成對(duì)的相鄰非腫瘤肝組織相比，βKlotho在人肝細(xì)胞癌組織中的表達(dá)下調(diào)。與正常肝細(xì)胞相比，肝癌細(xì)胞也顯示出βKlotho表達(dá)降低。將βKlotho重新引入肝癌細(xì)胞抑制了它們的增殖。
