名稱	Polymyxin B
描述	Polymyxin B is a polymyxin antibiotic with antimicrobial activity that acts by binding with high affinity to the LPS of the bacterial wall and by increasing the permeability of the bacterial cell membrane, and is used in the study of infections caused by drug-resistant (XDR) Gram-negative bacteria (GNB) Polymyxin B is used in the study of endotoxemia.
體外活性	10 μg/mL Polymyxin B，處理6小時,減少了人外周血單核細(xì)胞（PBMCs）中TNF-α和IL-10的產(chǎn)生。[3]
體內(nèi)活性	在5-20 mg/kg Polymyxin B的劑量范圍內(nèi)，每日一次靜脈注射，連續(xù)七天。在20 mg/kg劑量下，Sprague-Dawley大鼠模型出現(xiàn)了腎毒性終點，而在5 mg/kg劑量下則未觀察到此類終點。[2]
