Usage: 2,2Dimethylol Propionic Acid is a versatile organic raw materials. It is a chain extender in the manufacturing of waterborne polyurethane and can make polyurethane achieve self-emulsifying performance, being the waterborne polyurethane emulsion which has good stability. It is also used in the producing of polyurethane emulsion leather finishing agent, which is the upgrade products of traditional emulsive polyacrylate leather finishing. Used as addictive in modifying polyester resin ; the raw material of making photosensitive resin and liquid crystal ; epoxy ester coatings, PU elastomers and powder coating ; used in producing magnetic materials and adhesives to make recording tape , video tape, computer tape, data recording tape and magnetic card, etc.
