CPP9 is a small, amphiphilic, cyclic cell penetrating peptide (CPP) composed of 7 amino acids. CPP directly binds to plasma membrane phospholipids, enters mammalian cells through endocytosis, and is then effectively released from the endosome. CPP9 can be used for intracellular delivery of drugs and chemical probes.
