This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus. The protein has a calculated MW of 73.1 kDa & 71.5 kDa. The protein migrates as 95-130 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

The protein is designed as a dimer.

白細(xì)胞介素35（IL-35）是近期從IL-12家族中發(fā)現(xiàn)的一種抗炎性細(xì)胞因子。作為IL-12家族成員，該細(xì)胞因子由多種調(diào)節(jié)性淋巴細(xì)胞產(chǎn)生，在免疫抑制中發(fā)揮重要作用。IL-35可通過限制早期T細(xì)胞增殖，阻斷Th1和Th17細(xì)胞的分化。其異二聚體結(jié)構(gòu)包含p35和Ebi3兩個亞基——這兩個亞基同樣存在于IL-12和IL-27中。因此，IL-35被公認(rèn)為具有強(qiáng)大免疫抑制潛力的明確有效的免疫抑制劑。
