This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus, followed by an Avi tag (Avitag?).

The protein has a calculated MW of 15.5 kDa. The protein migrates as 17-18 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

背景介紹

CD3ε分子（epsilon鏈），也稱為CD3E，是一種T細(xì)胞表面的單次穿膜I型膜糖蛋白。CD3E包含1個(gè)免疫球蛋白樣結(jié)構(gòu)域（Ig-like domain）和1個(gè)ITAM結(jié)構(gòu)域（免疫受體酪氨酸激活基序）。

CD3E與CD3-γ、CD3-δ、CD3-ζ鏈以及T細(xì)胞受體α/β和γ/δ異二聚體共同組成T細(xì)胞受體-CD3復(fù)合物（TCR-CD3 complex）。該復(fù)合物在將抗原識(shí)別與多種細(xì)胞內(nèi)信號(hào)轉(zhuǎn)導(dǎo)通路相銜接的過程中發(fā)揮關(guān)鍵作用。

編碼ε、γ和δ多肽鏈的基因位于11號(hào)染色體的同一基因簇內(nèi)。其中，ε鏈多肽在T細(xì)胞發(fā)育中起不可或缺的作用。CD3E在T細(xì)胞發(fā)育中扮演核心角色，其基因缺陷可導(dǎo)致嚴(yán)重免疫缺陷癥。此外，CD3E基因也被認(rèn)為與女性罹患I型糖尿?。?/span>Type I diabetes）的易感性相關(guān)。
