This protein carries an Avi tag (Avitag?) at the C-terminus, followed by a polyhistidine tag.
The protein has a calculated MW of 25.5 kDa. The protein migrates as 40-55 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

CD16作為低親和力Fc受體,包含FcγRIIIa(CD16a)與FcγRIIIb(CD16b)兩種亞型,二者均特異性結(jié)合IgG抗體的Fc段并由高度同源基因以細(xì)胞類型特異性方式編碼,表達(dá)于自然殺傷細(xì)胞、中性粒細(xì)胞、單核細(xì)胞及巨噬細(xì)胞表面。其中CD16a(低親和力免疫球蛋白γ Fc段受體III-A)作為中親和力跨膜糖蛋白(多肽錨定),分布于NK細(xì)胞、巨噬細(xì)胞、T細(xì)胞亞群、未成熟胸腺細(xì)胞及胎盤滋養(yǎng)層細(xì)胞,介導(dǎo)吞噬作用、酶類與炎癥介質(zhì)分泌、抗體依賴性細(xì)胞毒性及免疫復(fù)合物清除;而CD16b則是中性粒細(xì)胞和嗜酸性粒細(xì)胞表達(dá)的低親和力GPI錨定受體。CD16a的功能異常與復(fù)發(fā)性病毒感染易感性、系統(tǒng)性紅斑狼瘡及同種免疫性新生兒中性粒細(xì)胞減少癥密切相關(guān)。
