白細胞介素33（IL33）又稱C9orf26、DKFZp586H0523、DVS27、NF-HEV、NFEHEV、RP11-575C20.2，是隸屬于IL-1超家族的細胞因子。它能誘導(dǎo)輔助T細胞、肥大細胞、嗜酸性粒細胞和嗜堿性粒細胞產(chǎn)生2型細胞因子。IL-33通過與其受體ST2（即IL1RL1）及IL-1受體輔助蛋白（IL1RAP）相互作用，激活NF-κB和MAP激酶信號通路中的細胞內(nèi)分子，從而促使極化Th2細胞產(chǎn)生2型細胞因子（如IL-5和IL-13）。在體內(nèi)環(huán)境中，IL-33可誘導(dǎo)IL-4、IL-5和IL-13的表達，并導(dǎo)致黏膜器官發(fā)生嚴重病理改變。
