腫瘤壞死因子α（TNFα）是一種主要由單核細胞和巨噬細胞產(chǎn)生的細胞因子，存在于組織中的滑膜細胞和巨噬細胞內(nèi)。其核心功能是調(diào)節(jié)免疫細胞活性：既能誘導(dǎo)細胞凋亡和炎癥反應(yīng)，亦可抑制腫瘤發(fā)生與病毒復(fù)制。TNFα分泌失調(diào)與多種人類疾病相關(guān)，包括重度抑郁癥、阿爾茨海默病及惡性腫瘤。

該因子的重組形式作為免疫刺激劑應(yīng)用于臨床，國際非專利藥品名（INN）為他索納明（tasonermin）。在惡性腫瘤病理狀態(tài)下，TNFα可發(fā)生異位分泌，其引發(fā)繼發(fā)性高鈣血癥的作用機制及關(guān)聯(lián)癌癥類型與甲狀旁腺素高度相似。
