This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.

The protein has a calculated MW of 54.4 kDa. The protein migrates as 60-66 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

血小板生成素受體（簡(jiǎn)稱TPO-R）主要表達(dá)于巨核細(xì)胞、血小板、成血細(xì)胞和造血干細(xì)胞表面。當(dāng)TPO與巨核細(xì)胞表面的TPO-R結(jié)合時(shí)，可產(chǎn)生多重生物學(xué)效應(yīng)：防止巨核細(xì)胞凋亡；提升巨核細(xì)胞數(shù)量、增大細(xì)胞體積及增加核內(nèi)倍體數(shù)；加速巨核細(xì)胞成熟進(jìn)程；并介導(dǎo)TPO/TPO-R復(fù)合物的內(nèi)化。該受體參與JAK、STAT、MAP激酶等多種信號(hào)轉(zhuǎn)導(dǎo)通路。
