This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus, followed by an Avi tag (Avitag?).

The protein has a calculated MW of 24.8 kDa. The protein migrates as 35-43 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

T細胞表面抗原CD2（亦稱紅細胞受體、LFA-2、LFA-3受體、玫瑰花結(jié)受體、T細胞表面抗原T11/Leu-5及SRBC）是一種表達于T細胞和自然殺傷（NK）細胞表面的I型單次跨膜蛋白。該蛋白屬于免疫球蛋白超家族成員，包含1個免疫球蛋白樣C2型結(jié)構(gòu)域和1個免疫球蛋白樣V型結(jié)構(gòu)域。CD2/SRBC可與其他細胞表面表達的黏附分子相互作用，如人類淋巴細胞功能相關(guān)抗原-3（LFA-3/CD58）或嚙齒類動物的CD48。除介導(dǎo)細胞黏附外，CD2還作為T細胞和NK細胞的共刺激分子發(fā)揮作用。作為T細胞與NK細胞的特異性標(biāo)志物，CD2可通過免疫組織化學(xué)技術(shù)用于組織切片中該類細胞的鑒定。
