Be?wb001-t is a wide spectrum microbicide, specially developed for the wetstate protection of water based decorative paints, plasters, emulsion polymers, pigments and mineral slurries and several other applications. Its multi-synergistic composition provides total protection with an excellent cost benefit ratio.

Aqueous solid suspensions like paints and slurries present sedimentation after some time. At this process, the formation of different layers with distinct characteristics occurs, which gives the opportunity for the growth of different kinds of microorganisms. At the lower layers, due to the lower levels of oxygen, the growth of anaerobic bacteria happens. These bacteria reproduce very fast, metabolizing combined oxygen (sulphates and nitrates for example) resulting in the H₂S liberation. H₂S causes bad smell.

At the upper layers, we will have the intense growth of aerobic bacteria and yeast. And at the head space of the package or tank, the possibility of growth of fungidue to dried spills adhered to the surfaces is very high.
