Upinitatug is a human IgG1 kappa monoclonal antibody targeting sodium-dependent phosphate transporter 2b (NaPi-2b, also known as NPT2B or NAPI-IIb), a cell surface protein overexpressed in ovarian cancer and other epithelial malignancies. It binds to NaPi-2b to inhibit phosphate transport and tumor growth, and is often developed as an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) to deliver cytotoxic agents directly to NaPi-2b-positive cancer cells. It is being investigated for the treatment of advanced ovarian cancer and other NaPi-2b-expressing solid tumors.
