Tesidolumab is a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting complement component 5a receptor 1 (C5aR1, CD88). It binds to C5aR1 to block the interaction with its ligand C5a, a potent pro-inflammatory anaphylatoxin generated during complement activation. It is being developed for the treatment of inflammatory and autoimmune diseases, such as hidradenitis suppurativa and ANCA-associated vasculitis.
