Dusquetide (SGX942) is the first class of innate defense regulator (IDR), a small linear polypeptide composed of five amino acids. By binding to p62, Dusquetide modulates the innate immune response to pathogen-associated molecular patterns (PAMPs) and damage-associated molecular patterns (DAMPs). Dusquetide exhibits activity in both reducing inflammation and enhancing bacterial infection clearance.
