Applications: 4,4’-Diaminodicyclohexylmethane is an important chemical intermediate. Used as epoxy curing agent for polyamide resin and polyurethane rubber manufacturing. 4,4’-Diaminodicyclohexylmethane is used to process all kinds of environment-friendly polyurethane coatings and adhesives with good transparency and yellowing resistance. Epoxy resin cured by 4,4’-Diaminodicyclohexylmethane has excellent heat resistance, dielectric property, solvent resistance, mechanical properties, as well as excellent optical properties, weather resistance, and can be used in damping materials, optical materials, coatings, engineering plastics, adhesives and other fields.

4,4'-Diaminodicyclohexylmethane neutralizes acids in weakly exothermic reactions to form salts plus water. May be incompatible with isocyanates, halogenated organics, peroxides, phenols (acidic), epoxides, anhydrides, and acid halides. May generate hydrogen, a flammable gas, in combination with strong reducing agents such as hydrides.
