Bombesin has common effects on the gastrointestinal tract and eating behavior. Frog bark extract acts on two types of receptors: one has a high affinity for neuroregulatory protein B, and the other has a high affinity for frog bark extract and gastrin releasing peptide (GRP). BIM 189 is a novel frog skin antagonist peptide consisting of 9 amino acids, while BIM 187 is a frog skin agonist.
