FN-A208 fusion peptide is a biologically active polypeptide consisting of 18 amino acids in its sequence. FN-A208 fusion peptide is a fusion of A208 derived from mouse laminin a1 and the active site of fibronectin (GRGDS) with the glycine spacer. This peptide forms amyloid fibrils and promotes the formation of actin stress fibers that mediate fibroblast attachment, making it potential as a tissue regeneration and engineering bio adhesive. FN-A208 fusion peptide interacts with IKVAV receptors and integrins. The presence of EDTA can disrupt its activity.
