描述Matairesinoside is a lignan extracted from the stem bark of Styrax japonica S. et Z, which is known to exhibit antibacterial and antioxidant properties while also functioning as a virus–cell fusion inhibitor. Matairesinoside acts as a potent inhibitor of TMEM16A, a novel target implicated in lung cancer progression, confirmed through molecular simulation and site-directed mutagenesis. Matairesinoside significantly reduces lung cancer cell growth, migration, and invasion while inducing apoptosis, with gene knockdown and overexpression demonstrating TMEM16A as the direct target and Western blot analysis elucidating the associated signaling pathways involved in tumor suppression.
體外活性Matairesinoside具有較強的病毒-細胞融合抑制活性，融合抑制率達46.7%[1]。 在DPPH自由基清除實驗中，Matairesinoside表現出顯著的自由基清除活性，其IC50為2.19μg/mL[2]。 Matairesinoside對Pseudomonas aeruginosa的抑制活性最強，其MIC為0.001 mg/mL[2]。
