Bz Nle Lys Arg Arg AMC is a substrate peptide of dengue virus NS2B-NS3 and fever virus NS3 proteases. The kcat/Km value of Bz Nle Lys Arg Arg AMC for dengue virus class 4 enzyme (DEN4) is over 800 times that of another widely used NS3 substrate, Boc Gly Arg Arg AMC (kcat=2.9 s-1, Km=8.6 μ M for DEN4). The kcat value of Bz Nle Lys Arg Arg AMC for fever virus NS3 protease is 0.111 s-1, and the Km value is 14.6 μ M.
