Chenodeoxycholic Acid complies with CP2025 (Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2025 Edition) quality standard. For export to Europe, products comply with EP12.3 (Ph.Eur.12.3, effective from July 1, 2026). From 2027, the standard will be uniformly switched to EP13.1.
Chenodeoxycholic Acid is an important bile acid intermediate and a key raw material for the synthesis of Ursodeoxycholic Acid (UDCA) and Obeticholic Acid. It is practically insoluble in water, soluble in ethanol and glacial acetic acid.
