DH Glass Beads for Sandblasting – Product Description

These high-quality glass beads are specially manufactured for sandblasting and surface peening applications. Made from chemically inert, lead-free soda-lime glass, they feature a perfectly spherical shape with a smooth surface and a Mohs hardness of approximately 5.5–6. Available in sizes from 30 to 800 microns, these beads deliver uniform, satin-like finishes without embedding contaminants into the substrate. They are ideal for cleaning, deburring, descaling, and cosmetic finishing on metals, plastics, and molds. During operation, maintain a blasting pressure between 40–80 PSI and use a suction or pressure blast cabinet with a bead-specific nozzle. Glass beads can be recycled multiple times, reducing media consumption and dust generation while ensuring a bright, polished surface finish.
