Application:
l In the pharmaceutical field, TRIS is commonly used as a buffer for vaccines and antibiotics, such as fosfomycin trometamol;
l In personal care and cosmetics applications, TRIS functions as a buffer and a mild neutralizing amine for skin and sun care formulations. This chemical is considered an excellent emulsifying agent and viscosity controller, and it is known for its capacity to maintain the original colors of lotions after opening;
l Research and Analytical Chromatography;
l In buffer solutions for gel electrophoresis (TAE and TBE)
l As a binding buffer and eluent in anion exchange chromatography
l For the evaluation of bacterial endotoxins
l In capillary electrochromatography (CEC), since it has low ionic mobility
