No. Trisodium phosphate (TSP), is a cleaning agent, stain remover and degreaser, commonly used to prepare surfaces for painting. It is an alkaline detergent that has been approved by USDA for use as a spray-application or carcass-dip at concentrations of 8–12% (21 CFR 182.1778). While highly efficient, it is not entirely safe for the environment or human contact, requiring safety precautions and environmental awareness. It is a strong chemical. Poisoning occurs if you swallow, breathe in, or spill large amounts of this substance on your skin.
