1-Propanol (C3H7OH) is a volatile organic compound commonly used as a solvent in industrial and pharmaceutical products. Its Lewis structure consists of 3 carbon atoms (C), 7 hydrogen atoms (H), and a hydroxyl (-OH) functional group. The 3 carbon atoms (C) are centrally located and linked by single bonds. One carbon atom is bonded to 3 hydrogen atoms (H) by single bonds; the central carbon atom is bonded to 2 hydrogen atoms by single bonds; and the last carbon atom is bonded to 2 hydrogen atoms and an -OH group by single bonds, ultimately forming 7 C-H bonds, 2 C-C bonds, and 1 C-O bond.
