Description
Curvularin, a compound originally derived from Curvularia lunata, has been reported to be a fungal metabolite and a potent mycotoxin. Mechanistic studies suggest that spore suspension caused by this compound can produce localized lesion and hepatic necrosis. Other studies suggest that Curvularin inhibits cytokine-induced, γ activated site-dependent reporter gene expression in vitro. Additionally, this agent was shown to inhibit inducible nitric-oxide synthase-dependent NO production via modulatory action on the Janus tyrosine kinase-signal transducer and activator of transcription pathway.More related product prices
