4 Example 4: Synthesis of 1- (2-ethoxymethyl)-1H-imidazo [4,5-c] quinoline-1-yl)-2-methylpropane-2-ol
Using the method of Scheme 5 below, 1- (2-ethoxymethyl) -1H-imidazo [4,5-c] quinoline-1-yl) -2-methylpropane-2-ol (compound 4) was synthesized. More specifically, compounds 3 (27 g) and 2-ethoxyacetic acid (30 ml) were added to a reactor at 10 to 20 ° C., and then stirred at 120-130 ° C. for 5 hours for 5 hours. The mixture was then cooled to 20 to 25 ° C. and saturated sodium carbonate (150 ml) was added. The reaction was extracted using a mixed solution of dichloromethane and methanol (10/1, v / v). The extracted organic solution layer was washed with brine (brine) and then the moisture was removed using sodium sulfate (10 g). The layer of the organic solution from which the moisture was removed was filtered using a filter and concentrated at low pressure to obtain compound 4 (30 g, 85.8%, yellow gel).
