It was added in a closed reaction vessel 0.3mmol2-amino-benzothiazole-6-ester, 0.6mmol silver nitrite, 4 ml of 1,2-dichloroethane,the reaction mixture was stirred at 100 for 36 hours. After the reactionwas stopped, cooled to room temperature, the reaction mixture was added 10mLdiluted with dichloromethane, filtration and stripped of solvent under reducedpressure, the residue was purified by column chromatography, eluent V(petroleum ether) / V (ethyl ester) = 6/1, to give 6-ester-benzothiazole, yield62%
