Steps:
2 Preparation of BDE-28
1,3-dibromobenzene (2.34g, 0.01mol) and 4-bromophenol (3.44g, 0.02mol) was stirred in a beaker and mix, 34g of montmorillonite was added. After stirring the reaction mix again into a dedicated microwave the flask was heated for 30min under microwave 170W, cooling. After washing with 100mL of methylene chloride were collected the reaction solution was washed, vacuum distillation to give a colorless oil fully, column chromatography, to give a white solid 3.31 g, 82% yield.
