1.1 General procedure for preparing 2
General procedure: A mixture of corresponding o-bromobenzoic acids and SOCl2 was stirred at 60 °C for 6 h. The mixture was subsequently evaporated and then it was added dropwise to the NH4OH at an ice bath. After dropping, the reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature overnight. The mixture was filtered and the residue was dried under vacuum to afford the title compounds. 2-bromo-4-fluorobenzamide (2a) White solid; yield 89%;
