35 Preparation by method B:
100 g (422.10 mmol) of 2,6-dibromopyridine, 36.79 g (633.15 mmol) of potassium fluoride and 11.16 g of 18-crown-6 are heated in a distillation apparatus 190° C. under vacuum (200 mbar), and the reaction product is distilled off. Repeated purification by distillation gives 43.90 g of 2-bromo-6-fluoropyridine having a boiling point of 70° C. at 15 mbar. STR66
