To a stirred mixture of Λ/-boc-3-hydroxyazetidine (500 mg, 2.89 mmol) in DCM (14 mL) was added trifluoroacetic acid (2.9 mL). The mixture was stirred at room temperature for 1h and concentrated in vacuo to give crude product. This material was mixed with DMF to make a 1 M stock solution and used as is.
