Glycosylation with glycosyl o-(1-alkynyl)benzoates; General procedure
General procedure: A solution of glycosyl donor 1a-j (0.5 mmol) and acceptor 2a-h (0.6 mmol) in anhydrous CH3CN (5 ml) was stirred with iodine (0.6 mmol) at 25oC. On complete consumption of the starting materials indicated by TLC (eluent: hexane-EtOAc, 2:2), the reaction mixture was concentrated under reduced pressure, diluted with DCM and washed with Na2S2O3 solution, and water. The organic layer was dried with Na2SO4, concentrated under reduced pressure and purified by column chromatography.
