1.1 Synthesis of Intermediate 1
The 8.7gN, N- diethyl-aminophenol (52.67mmol) was added to a mixed solution of 30mL of concentrated hydrochloric acid and 10mL of water, taking with sodium nitrite 4.36g (63.20mmol) in 30mL water and slowly dropped into the reaction solution thereof in, keeping the temperature at -5 deg.] C, mechanically stir 1h, and filtered to give a tan solid.The crude product was washed with 100mL of a saturated aqueous solution of sodium acetate. After filtration, the resulting solid was recrystallized from acetone.To give a red crystalline solid 1 (9.2g, 90% yield).
