6. General experimental procedure for (E)-conjugated polyene sulfonyl chloride
General procedure: 1 mmol compound 2 was dissolve in 10~20 mL DCM. 2 equiv TEA was added dropwise at room temperature. Stirred for several minutes, the reaction mixture was washed with brine (5~10 mL). The organic layer was dried over anhydrous Na2SO4, filtered and concentrated to yield faintly yellow or colorless oil product with 85-95% yield.
