32.2 Step 2: Preparation of methyl 2-(p-tolyl)imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine-6-carboxylate (B-3)
B-2 (10g, 65.8mmol), 2-bromo-4'-methylacetophenone (13.9g, 65.8mmol) and potassium carbonate (9.1g, 65.8mmol) were added to a 500mL reaction flask, 200mL of ethanol was added, 80 reaction 5h. The reaction solution was cooled to room temperature, concentrated under reduced pressure, and purified by silica gel column chromatography to obtain 9.8 g of a yellow solid with a yield of 56%.
