(1) Synthesis of dimethyl pimelate
In a 50-liter glass reactor with stirring and a thermometer, 5000 g of pimelic acid,25000ml of methanol, 200g of p-toluenesulfonic acid, start stirring, warming reflux 7h,Sampling raw material reaction is less than 0.5% is terminated;Then, the temperature was lowered to room temperature, and 300 g of sodium carbonate was added to neutralize p-toluenesulfonic acid. After filtration, methanol was removed from the filtrate to obtain 5911 g of crude dimethyl pimelate.The crude dimethyl pimelate was transferred to a 5000-ml single-mouth bottle for high-vacuum distillation. The oil bath temperature was 110°C.The degree of vacuum is 42 Pa, and the gas-phase collection temperature is 74° C., 5730 g of dimethyl pimelate can be obtained, with a content of 99.8% and a yield of 98.08%.
