General procedure: A solution of heterocyclic enaminone 12a,b,d (1.0 mmol) and maleimide 2a-c (1.0 mmol) in the solvent (5.0 mL), temperature and time indicated in each case, was magnetic stirring. After this, the reaction mixture was concentrated under reduced pressure and the residue was purified by column chromatography on silica gel when necessary.
