To a solution of 23e (1.95 g, 10 mmol) in MeOH (20 mL), concentrated H2SO4 (0.1 mL) was added and the resulting solution was stirred overnight at rt.
After solvent evaporation, the crude oil was diluted with Et2O (15 mL) and filtered through a pad of SiO2 to afford 24e as yellow oil (2.10 g, quant.)
